Leeds city centre restaurant Sous le Nez has fully reopened after the fire at the Majestic building forced it to be temporarily closed.
The restaurant in Quebec Street was shut on Wednesday last week as a result of the fire that brought down the roof of Majestic on the other side of the road on the Tuesday evening.
However, after receiving a number of calls from customers since, the French restaurant’s owners are keen to stress that the closure was a temporary one.
The gas supply was restored to the restaurant late last Thursday afternoon and Sous le Nez is now fully reopened and is serving its full menus as usual.
Meanwhile, the investigation into how the fire at the former Majestyk night club remains ongoing.
Firefighters pulled out of the building on Thursday evening and left it in the hands of structural engineers on behalf of the site’s owners, the Leeds-based property company Rushbond.
