Customers are in mourning after a popular Chinese restaurant in Leeds confirmed it will shut later this month.
The North Sea has traded on Town Street in Stanningley for 26 years and owners Alvin and Gee are well-known locally.

They are believed to be retiring from running the restaurant.
A message posted on their Facebook page read:
"The North Sea Chinese restaurant has been providing good food and service for the past 26 years. After much consideration and discussion, we have made a hard decision and we regret to announce that we will be closing the restaurant. The last day of business will be June 23.
"We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our loyal customers, friends and staff for everything. It has truly been a pleasure!
"We invite, and hope everyone feels welcome to come join us in the weeks before we close and on our last evening."

Customers expressed their shock and disappointment at the news and shared their happy memories of nights there - including one woman who got engaged at The North Sea and another whose mother had been hoping to celebrate her 100th birthday there.
Graham Menzies said: "No way. Best Chinese restaurant I've ever been to. Food staff and entertainment second to none. Shame but good luck."
Deborah Wilkie commented: "Wishing you all the best for the future. Thank you for all the happy times we have had with you. Can’t imagine no North Sea. Certainly end of an era."
Karen Nelson added: "Gutted. We have some very happy memories of our visits to the North Sea. It will always be the best Chinese restaurant. We would like to wish you well in your future and we will miss you (and your beautiful food)."
Tony Murphy wrote: "Alvin, you must be joking! You've been more of a friend over the years. This is such a shock. You and the guys and The North Sea have served everyone who passed through those doors with the best service any restaurant can only dream about. The quality is always the best."
