Regulars hold quiz in ‘closed’ Leeds pub’s car park

Regulars from a Leeds pub, which recently closed following disputes between the landlord and Enterprise Inns, staged their regular quiz in the car park.

Gina Howard and her family decided to leave The Owl at Rodley after ongoing disputes with the company that owns the building.

Thousands of regulars put pen to paper and signed petitions in a bid to save the family from leaving the pub.

But they held a farewell party at the premises, which has become a community hub over the last six years.

Regulars set up camp in the pub’s car park to continue the tradition of a weekly quiz at the pub.
