Reet Yorkshire challenge to boost charity

Leeds residents are being invited to prove their Yorkshire credentials in a series of themed games and challenges.

The first ever Reet Good Yorkshire Games, devised by city-based The Light, will test people on making a proper brew, welling wanging and more to aid charity on August 1.

Stephanie James, Marketing Manager at The Light, said: “We wanted to put on a new and exciting event to raise money for the vital work Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice do – and came up with the idea of an It’s a Knockout style event with a Yorkshire twist.

“The event will be a brilliant family day out and the challenges will definitely have some unexpected twists in store for those taking part.”

Teams of 10 to 15 members can register for the at www.thelightleeds.co.uk. Entry is £100 per team plus £700 in fundraising.
