Record sales highlight strength of housing market in Yorkshire

Housebuilder, Barratt Developments Yorkshire, which includes both the Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes brands, announces another year of record output, having completed 1,437 homes across the region over the last financial year.The news comes as the housebuilder also reveals strong sales from its previous financial year, with reservations up 16% like for like, with over 1,200 homebuyers choosing a Barratt or David Wilson Home in the region.The housebuilder also has another 30 developments planned across Yorkshire this year and is urging house hunters to take advantage of the government’s Help to Buy scheme and the developer’s innovative Part Exchange offering.

Paul Hogan, Sales Director for Barratt Homes Yorkshire East, said: “Our sales have been strong in the last year, and as these figures show, buyers in the region remain confident in the sector and about investing in the property market. We have a further 30 developments planned across Yorkshire in the next financial year, and are confident about our investment in the region.
