Pooches of all shapes and sizes were put through their paces at a charity event in Leeds at the weekend.
Puppies in the Park was held yesterday at Farnley Hall Park and featured agility courses, a dog show and fun fair. Dozens of families and enthusiasts took part in the event, where more than 50 stalls were available selling a variety of goods.
It was organised by West Yorkshire Police’s Leeds Inner West policing team and this year, some stall holders donated proceeds to the Guide Dogs charity.
There were also displays from the Calverley Chasers group, demonstrating flyball – a sport which sees dogs race over hurdles to catch a tennis ball. The Puppies in the Park 2017 followed a 2016 event organised by the policing team, where more than 2,000 people took part in activities.
