A group of primary school pupils received some expert training from Leeds Rhinos’ head coach Brian McDermott and captain Danny McGuire. Gledhow Primary School in Lidgett Lane played host to the first Rhinos Takeover Day when the school was decked out in blue and amber, and the silverware from the club’s historic treble was put on display. Children also took part in multi-skills and tag rugby coaching sessions

Headteacher Stephen Archer said: “Many of the Rhinos players are local to Leeds and they are great role models for the children and we hope their story will help inspire a new generation of players and supporters from our school.”
