New mums in north Leeds can give themselves a fitness boost - while staying close by to baby - with the re-launch of a new exercise class.

Pramercise - a full body class specifically designed for post-natal mums - has just returned to Roundhay Park on Thursdays, with the first class held last week.

A new class has also been set up in Calverley Park which begins tomorrow, Tuesday April 17 at 11am.

The classes are run by Chapel Allerton Pilates, whose founder Claire Sparrow said: “Pramercise educates women about the importance of dynamic posture, functional movement patterns and the rehabilitation of their post-natal body - it isn’t simply about burning calories. This is all achieved through cardio strength, mobility and postural exercises with an emphasis on how it relates to their life using the principles of Pilates. “
