He was filmed on a mobile phone by a concerned member of the public who came across him sitting on a wall by the side of road in Park View Road, Burley, at about 2am on the day Mr Mural’s body was found nearby in the park.

He appears to be in his late teens to early twenties, slim, with short dark hair. He was wearing a dark-coloured t-shirt with bands of white round the sleeves, dark-coloured jeans and white trainers.

Detective Chief Inspector Jim Dunkerley, of West Yorkshire Police Homicide and Major Enquiry Team, said: “This man was seen in the vicinity of where Mr Mural’s body was found and we urgently need to trace him to establish if he has any information that could assist the investigation.

“He appeared to be slightly worse for wear, possibly after a night out. We would like to hear from that man himself or from anyone who recognises him so we can speak to him at the earliest opportunity.”
