Hundreds of dogs from across the city will enjoy a mutts’ meeting on Sunday.
Pooches of all shapes and sizes will be stretching their legs at the 14th Bark in the Park – which takes place simultaneously at Golden Acre Park in Bramhope and Temple Newsam Park.
Over the years it has raised £113,000 for St Gemma’s Hospice – paying for 240 days care for patients.
The family of dog-lover Pamela Walker, who was supported by St Gemma’s and lost her battle with cancer last year, has made a donation to the event to help fund the care of future patients. Entries are closed for Temple Newsam. To register for Golden Acre ring 0113 218 5565 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
