East Leeds: Noisy equipment confiscated

Have your say

Nineteen pieces of equipment have been seized from a house in east Leeds after the resident failed to heed warnings about noise nuisance.

The Leeds Anti Social Behaviour Team and local police officers executed a warrant at a property on Ramshead Heights, Seacroft, following repeated complaints about anti-social behaviour.

The occupant – who had ignored a noise abatement notice – was not present at the time but 19 electrical items capable of playing music were removed.

Last year 534 noise abatement notices were issued in Leeds.
