Over the past ten years, Leeds has seen a net loss of 2,404 council houses across the city - an average rate of around 240 per year.

The below wards are those that have seen the steepest decline in council housing over the past ten years from 2009/10 to 2019. Figures have been provided by Leeds City Council and the Leeds Observatory.

Please note that some wards - such as Headingley and Hyde Park - where electoral boundaries have changed in the past ten years have been excluded from this list, so they have not been factored into the ranking.
