Police 'very concerned' for missing 14-year-old Leeds girl

POLICE are urgently appealing for information to trace a 14-year-old girl who is missing in Leeds.

Katie Hutchinson, who was last seen at about 4.30pm on Thursday, February 23, has been missing before and is known to frequent the city centre.

She is described as white, 5ft 5ins tall, with red/brown hair that is short at the back and long at the front. 

She was last seen wearing dark jeans and a dark jacket with a fur collar. 

Detective Inspector James Entwistle, of Leeds District Safeguarding Unit, said: "We are very concerned for Katie's welfare and urgently need to trace her. We would like to hear from anyone who has seen her or who has any information on her current whereabouts."

Anyone with information is asked to contact Leeds District Safeguarding Unit via 101 quoting log number 1579 of February 23.
