Officers have been targeting speeding drivers across Leeds using a new bit of kit over the weekend - a speed indicator bike.

-> Tallest office block in Leeds is sold for £65MillionThe bike, which flashes up the speed of drivers as they pass, was used in the Leeds East policing ward and 'at various locations across the Leeds area'.

Police posting on Facebook said: "Officers from the Leeds District off road bike team were recently deployed with the speed indicating device over the weekend at various locations across the Leeds area.

"A number of motorcyclists and car drivers were positively dealt with."
