British Transport Police (BTP) officers want to speak to this man, after the doors of a nightclub were deliberately damaged.

The incident happened at around 11.20 am, outside Silks Gentleman’s Lounge, in Sovereign Place, near Leeds station on Sunday, February 1.

PC Colin Steele said: “A dark saloon car pulled up close to the club, and a man got out.

“He walked past, but then returned, forcefully pulling and shaking the doors until they opened slightly, before looking inside.”

Two other men got out of the car, but did not approach the club. The trio drove off shortly afterwards.”

PC Steele said: “We are unsure of the man’s motivation. Fortunately, there were steel shutters behind the door which prevented him from entering the premises.

“The doors were damaged during the incident, though, leaving the owners with a hefty repair bill”.

Anyone with information should contact BTP on 0800 40 50 40, or text 61016, quoting reference PSUB/B14 of 09/03/2015 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
