Police probe as woman found in ‘distressed’ state near Leeds pub


A police investigation is under way after a woman was found in a “distressed state” near a Leeds pub.

Police were contacted by the ambulance service who were attending to a 27-year-old woman who had been found near to The Angel, in Leeds Road, Robin Hood.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said she had been found in a “distressed state”.

The woman was treated at hospital for minor injuries.

A scene was put in place while the circumstances were investigated.

Enquiries are ongoing.
