Police issue urgent appeal over man missing in Leeds

Police today issued an urgent appeal for help in tracing a man who has gone missing in Leeds.

Gary Atack, 45, was last seen in the Morley area yesterday.

He is described as white, about 6ft 1in tall and of medium build with short grey hair and sideburns.

Mr Atack wears dark-rimmed glases and was last seen in a khaki G-Star jacket with blue jeans and dark coloured shoes.

West Yorkshire Police’s Sgt Jo Lund said: “Gary’s family and the police are very concerned for his welfare and urgently need to establish his whereabouts to check he is okay.

“We would like to hear from anyone who has seen him since yesterday morning or who knows where he is.”
