Police issue update on quad biker airlifted to hospital after smash in Leeds

The driver of a quad bike that collided with a van in a Leeds suburb was air lifted to hospital with serious injuries.The incident happened on Back Lane in Farsley at around 9.40pm on Friday, July 20.
The quad bike rider is a 28-year-old man from Pudsey and the van driver is a 33-year-old from Bramley, the police revealed today.

Hide AdToday, West Yorkshire Police told the Yorkshire Evening Post that the rider's injuries are serious, but not thought to be life-threatening and he is in a stable condition in hospital.
The investigation into the crash is 'ongoing' and there have been no arrests.

The 28-year-old who was driving the quad bike was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after he became trapped under a white van following the collision.

Hide AdA spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "A collision was reported on Back Lane near the Old Hall Hotel in Farley at 9.40pm on Friday.
"A quad bike collided with a white Transit van and the adult male driver of the quad bike became trapped under the van.
"He was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries."
