Police say they have concerns for the welfare of a woman who has gone missing in West Yorkshire.

Vicki Milton, 42, was reported missing from the Knottingley area at around 3.15pm yesterday.

Police are carrying out checks in Knottingley and also at the Fairburn Ings nature reserve, which Vicki has previously visited.

She is described as white, about 5ft 2in tall and of a “chubby” build, with very short blonde hair and blue eyes.

Vicki has a tattoo of a flower on her left wrist and tattoos of a flower and a butterfly on her left hand.

When she was last seen she was wearing a black woolly jumper, dark jeans and grey Converse trainers.

Det Insp Lester Lee, from Wakefield CID, said: “We do have concerns for Vicki’s welfare and would like Vicki or anyone who sees her to get in touch to let us know she is OK.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Wakefield CID via West Yorkshire Police’s 101 number.
