Police investigate burglary at Leeds golf club

POLICE are investigating a burglary at a golf club in east Leeds.

An alarm was triggered at the Garforth Golf Range on Long Lane at around 1.15am on April 15.

A spokesman from West Yorkshire Police said officers were later called to the site at around 8.40am after criminal damage was reported.

The spokesman said: “It is not yet know what has been stolen.

“At 8.42am there was a further report of damage to the entrance gates.”

He added: “If anyone has information about the incident, or saw anything suspicious, please contact the police via 101.”
