Police hunt for three men after 21-year-old attacked outside Leeds nightclub

A 21-year-old man has sustained serious head injuries after being punched outside a Leeds nightclub.

Police have released CCTV images of three men they wish to speak to in connection with the incident, which took place outside the Control nightclub at the Cardigan Fields retail park in Kirkstall in the early hours of yesterday morning.



The victim, who is from Bradford, was attacked by one of the men at around 3.20am.

He was taken to Leeds General Infirmary for treatment and is in a stable condition following surgery.

His injuries are not considered life threatening.

Detective Inspector Phil Jackson, of Leeds District CID, said: “We have recovered good quality CCTV footage which shows the incident in which the victim was punched.



“It appears there was an altercation involving two groups of men outside the nightclub which has led to the victim being assaulted.

“We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or who recognises the three men shown in the CCTV images.”
