Police discover cannabis factory in Roundhay home

Police have discovered cannabis being grown in a property in one of Leeds's most exclusive suburbs.

Officers were initially called to Roman Place in Roundhay after reports of a burglary shortly after midnight this morning.

They then discovered a suspected cannabis factory inside a house and a number of plants were seized.

West Yorkshire Police said:

"Two men aged 56 and 29 were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the production of a controlled drug (cannabis) and possession of class A drug. They remain in police custody."
