A police cordon was put in place on a main Leeds shopping street tonight.

Two police vans could be seen on Briggate around 10pm as officers sealed off an area near the top of the street.

One social media user suggested a "ram raid" had taken place at the Louis Vuitton store, and separate reports said that three vehicles were involved in an incident there.

The luxury store was ram-raided in another incident only two weeks ago.
