A police car was involved in a collision in Huddersfield this morning.

West Yorkshire Police confirmed that officers were called shortly before 10.30am after one of its Peugeot cars collided with a silver Toyota.

The occupants of the latter car were taken to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary as a precaution.

Enquiries are going on at the scene.
