Police car and taxi crash in Leeds

A police car and a taxi have collided in Leeds today.

The small patrol car was involved in the accident on the A64 York Road in Gipton just after 11am, while travelling towards Leeds.

Nobody was injured and the vehicle was not involved in a pursuit during the incident. It sustained damage to the bonnet and front wheels.

West Yorkshire Police confirmed that the vehicle was in collision with a Skoda Octavia taxi. An ambulance attended as a precaution.
