Police called to mobility scooter being driven the wrong way on Leeds ring road

Police officers have been sent to intercept the driver of a mobility scooter travelling the wrong way on one of Leeds' busiest roads.

The errant vehicle was seen on the outer ring road near Adel at around 3pm on Tuesday.

West Yorkshire Police Tweeted that officers were on their way to the scene, but later confirmed that there was no trace of him when they arrived.
