Police bosses put best foot forward for charity trek

SENIOR police officers from West Yorkshire have raised £2,000 for Oxfam after walking 100km in 30 hours.

Chief constable Mark Gilmore, assistant chief constable Geoff Dodd, Fraser Sampson, chief executive for the county’s police and crime commissioner, and former police authority staff member Glenn Shelley took part in the Oxfam Trailtrekker event. They walked across the Yorkshire Dales and came 22nd out of 160 entrants.
