Police appeal after car stolen in Batley hit and injured woman

Police are appealing for information after a car  stolen from an address in Batley struck a pedestrian in Bradford.

The grey Nissan Juke was stolen during a robbery in the Healey area of Batley on October 28.

The next day, shortly before 3.30pm, the Nissan Juke was involved in a collision with a 21-year-old woman pedestrian on Killinghall Road, Bradford.

She was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary following the collision where she was treated for minor injuries.

The Nissan Juke was left at the scene but three men were seen running from the vehicle.

DC Mark Willetts, of Kirklees District CID, said: "We are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision in Bradford or who saw anyone running or acting suspiciously in the vicinity of this incident.

"Anyone who witnessed this incident or with details about those involved are asked to call Kirklees District CID via 101."
