Plans already under way for Horsforth Walk of Art

Organisers of the third Horsforth Walk of Art are busy making plans for the event this summer.

Artists, residents and creative people from the West Leeds town and the surrounding areas are being invited to take part on July 7 and 8.

It will involve free activities and workshops as well as people opening up their garden sheds, conservatories and homes for exhibitions.

Event founder Lara Rule said: “The Horsforth Walk of Art promises to be a wonderful weekend festival celebrating our community and the brilliantly creative people living within and around it.

“We’re delighted that all the local schools and community groups are getting involved.

“The Horsforth Walk of Art truly is an event for everyone – you’re never too young or too old to get creative and learn about all things art.”
