It is believed the mother-of-two, who would have celebrated her 42nd birthday today, is around 14 in the picture.

The photo, taken in the early 1980s, shows Mrs Cox along with nine other pupils from her school.

It has been released by her former teacher John Lockwood.

Mr Lockwood, now 80, of Huddersfield, was at the school for 37 years and became head of geography.
