Th centre of Leeds came to a standstill as the city honoured the country’s military heroes on Remembrance Sunday.
Proceedings began at 10.30am as former and current service personnel paraded from Millennium Square down Cookridge Street past Leeds Cathedral and into Victoria Gardens.
The service included a minute’s silence, the playing of the Last Post, readings from members of Leeds’s faith communities and the singing of Abide With Me.
