The NRG Extreme Cheerleaders are a recreational and competitive programme based in Pudsey, but compete in Ireland, Paris, and at the sixth largest international competition, Future Cheer International Cheer & Dance Championships in Bournemouth.

The programme was formed in 2003 and is heading towards its 15th year of competing. The NRG athletes range from four years old to adults. NRG Extreme train twice a week at Crenshaw Academy in Pudsey.

Progamme Director Lisa-Marie Trory said: “I started coaching as I wanted to share the life lessons I have learnt. Being part of a cheerleading squad gives you brilliant team-building skills, confidence and traits you can carry throughout your working life. We are very lucky to have a very supportive family at NRG.”
