Photo essay: Talented Leeds students get to the art of the matter

The ‘Extra-ordinary’ exhibition has been running at Leeds College of Art’s sites on Blenheim Walk and Vernon Street throughout the past week.

It marked the end of the academic year for students who were exhibiting their final work before graduation.

Visitors to the free show were treated to students’ artwork from the Animation, Creative Advertising, Fashion, Fine Art, Graphic Design, Illustration, Photography, Texiles and Visual Communication courses.

Students were also on hand at the exhibit’s ‘Art Market’ to sell visitors prints and copies of their work. A catwalk showcase by fashion students will also be put on at the Corn Exchange on Tuesday.

The college recently began a £22 million expansion, due by 2018.
