Trainee masterchefs have been simmering, sautéing, pouring and perfecting dishes at Leeds City College’s Food Academy.
Yorkshire Evening Post photographer Simon Hulme captured young chefs including Connor Corrigan (main picture) in action at the college’s Printworks Campus.
The training restaurant was opened to the public by celebrity chef Rosemary Shrager back in October 2013 and provides commercial experience and training for students enrolled on vocational catering and hospitality courses at the college.
The restaurant offers customers contemporary menus, prepared and served under the supervision of highly qualified hospitality professionals, with prices reflective of its training status. A new restaurant is set to open in the coming months, as part of the final phase of the Printworks campus.
