Petrolheads are gearing up for super-charged summer

Mr Holman, who hails from Leeds, looks set to have over £50m worth of supercars gathering in the north of England to help raise money for charity.

The NSPCC supporter hopes The Dreamcar Event will help raise money to support the charity’s work with vulnerable youngsters across the region.

And he has roped in some celebrity supporters to entertain up to 10,000 petrol heads who are expected to attend the event at Croft Racing Circuit on June 12.

I’m A Celebrity winner Vicky Pattison will be joined by Big Brother’s first winner Craig Phillips.

TV presenter Jason Bradbury will also be attending with his ‘Back To The Future’ DeLorean.

The show, which is billed as the first of its kind, will feature a McLaren P1 Gtr - one of only 35 models of its kind in the world.

Car enthusiasts will be in for a treat with a selection of high-powered vehicles including Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Porsches and Aston Martins also on show.

Mr Holman, who owns Leeds Supercar Meet, said the event will help to give people the chance to experience for themselves what it is like to be a passenger in a Supercar.

And money raised from the rides will go to the NSPCC.

An advance family ticket (two adults, two children) costs £30, while an individual adult ticket is £10 and £5 for a child up to 16.

A family ticket on the day costs £40, while adult tickets are £15 and child £10.

LIVING LIFE IN THE FAST LANE

The Dreamcar Event has been created by Jason Holman, having presented the hugely successful ‘Supercar Event’ for the last six years at the Top Gear Track in aid of The Children’s Trust.

This year’s event in aid of the NSPCC with more than 100 members of Leeds Supercar Meet in attendance.

Alongside the supercar rides, there will also be a full fairground, segways, mini tanks and hovercrafts.
