The giant marquee played host to DJs who would play a mix of chart-toppers and cheesy hits, which festival-goers would listen to through wireless headphones.
But last year revellers were disappointed when Festival Republic removed the Disco from the Festival, which takes place in Bramham Park every August.
Now, one Leeds festival-lover has begun a petition to bring the disco back to the festival site this year.
Fashion student Laura Foster, 20, started the petition on website change.org last week, and it already has nearly 750 signatures.
She said: “I’ve been to Leeds Fest for the past four years and we noticed last year the iconic Silent Disco wasn’t on the map released a few weeks before it began.
“We all emailed the organisers Festival Republic to ask why but they didn’t reply.”
Laura, from Colton, started the petition in the hope that this year Festival Republic would bring the disco back.
She said: “I love the festival, but the response we’ve had from Festival Republic has been rude - they’ve just ignored the petition. I believe they’re avoiding me.
“The Silent Disco just a thing you do whether it’s your first time at the festival or fifth.”
Laura said she thought it was unfair that the Silent Disco remained last year at Leeds’ sister festival, Reading. She said: “Everywhere you go, the South gets more coverage.
“We’re paying a lot of money for tickets, the same as them and it’s not just about the headliners.”
One comment on the petition from Jim Clarke: “I’m signing because I feel like years of precious memories have been ruined. Whilst here I met a girl, a girl who has since become my wife.”
Festival Republic were unavailable for comment.
