Anatomy Lab Live is bringing its live autopsy ‘dinner and dissection evening’ back to Leeds on its UK tour - but this time those attending will have the chance to perform part of the surgery themselves.

The brainchild of human anatomist Samuel Piri, the tour uses a semi-synthetic human cadaver stuffed with pig organs and has hit the headlines across the country over recent years.

Tickets are now on sale for next year’s tour where guests can enjoy a two-course meal in the ‘operating theatre dining room’ before a medical team springs into action to try and save a ‘patient’s’ life.

Each table will be covered with blue surgical drapes and given a trolley with clamps, scalpels and an array of surgeons’ tools.

Guests, decked out in real surgical overalls, will then attempt a variety of techniques during a complete dissection of the human body, guided by Samuel on a live screen.

Samuel Piri said: “We’re really excited to be back with the surgery tour in 2019.

“We’ve worked hard to respond to everybody’s feedback and requests and the ‘The Surgery’ is definitely going to be exciting.

“A perfect blend of infotainment that will promise and unforgettable night like never before.

“We urge you to get your tickets as soon as possible as the last two tours have sold out within a few days.”

The Anatomy Lab Live show will be coming to Leeds on February 15 next year at the Hilton Hotel on Neville Street.
