'Mum is famous': Meet the Leeds stars of Couples Come Dine With Me

Clare Brooke, 40, and her husband Matthew, 43, will appear on the Channel 4 show on Thursday, January 23.

The Bramley couple said there are 'revelations' to be revealed during the episode, filmed across Yorkshire, and plenty of laughs and fiery discussion.

Clare, a duty officer for Leeds City Council based at Pudsey Leisure Centre, said: "It was brilliant, one of the best times of our lives.

"It was pure banter and we loved just having a laugh and enjoying the experience, and it brought us closer together as a couple."

Clare applied for the show without telling Matthew, who works at a pharmaceutical company in Morley and is a keen cook.

The couple are avid fans of Come Dine With Me, often pausing the show to have a debate or recreate the dishes.

They will be watching the show with their two children - Jacob, aged 11, and Summer, aged 7.

Clare added: "Summer tells people, 'oh mum is famous!'

"It's not everyday that you get an opportunity like this, it was unreal and so much fun.

"I just wish we could do it again."

Channel 4's Couples Come Dine With Me in Yorkshire will premier on Thursday, January 23 at 5pm.
