More than 1000 mourners from across world turn out for funeral of popular traveller from Yorkshire who had 140 grandchildren

Beloved Patrick 'Paddy' Doran, 91, was laid to rest at the Catholic Church of the Holy Rosary in Leeds on Thursday (Jan 30) surrounded by his adoring friends and family who travelled from all over the world to attend.
Paddy - who was well known for trading horses - leaves behind hundreds of family members and his wife of 70 years, Mary.

Hide AdIncredible pictures of the funeral cortege show exuberant floral displays, including one in the shape of a caravan, and a golden carriage carrying loved ones.
Paddy's coffin was in a magnificent glass-panelled carriage being pulled by four horses with the Irish flag draped over their backs.
The family man was born and raised in Wexford in the southeast of Ireland before moving to West Yorkshire when he was in his early 20s.
Paddy spent the last 20 years of his life in Doncaster and became affectionately known as 'Rich' Paddy Doran by those who knew him.

Hide AdAfter a long and colourful life the dad-of-12 passed away from natural causes at the age of 91.
His grandson John Taylor, a 29-year-old car trader and property developer, described Paddy as a "talented family man".
He added: "Paddy was an absolute gentleman, anyone who knew him would tell you the same.
"He was family family orientated and love them with all his heart.

Hide Ad"Paddy was also a very good businessman and knew how to make money - lots of people knew him as 'Rich'."
John said people had travelled from all over the world to attend the funeral.
He added: "Paddy was much loved.
"I have a lot of friends on social media and everyone was paying tribute, everybody wanted to be here.
"More than 1000 people came to the funeral."
John said the funeral was the 'send off Paddy deserved'.
John added: "We have a very big family and to see so many of them turn out today is amazing.
"Word of mouth spread so fast about the funeral and so many people were here.
"It is what he deserved."
