Kimberley Broadbent, 34, has lived in her Bramley home for the past seven years.

Kimberley's husband Brett smashed up an old wardrobe which was in the home - where the pair discovered an 85-year-old Yorkshire Evening Post newspaper hidden behind the mirror.

The newspaper - from April 1, 1935 - showcases many vintage adverts and articles including hospital statistics.

The huge broadsheet version of the YEP includes references to King George, an alleged theft of coins and an advert for 'Britain's most beautiful car'.

Kimberley told the Yorkshire Evening Post: "My husband smashed the mirror and it was hidden behind.

"The paper is 85 years old.

"It was an old wardrobe but we have no idea how long it has been there."
