Leeds family launch appeal for information after discovering bullet in garden

A Leeds family have been left baffled - after discovering a bullet in their garden.

Matt and Tracy Sutherland, from Bramley, are hoping to find out more information about the origin of the bullet.

Tracy, 42, found it while digging in the garden to sort a vegetable patch.

The couple said they had never seen 'anything like this before' and they had lived in the property since 1998.

Matt told the Yorkshire Evening Post: "It was found on Thursday by my wife.

"She was digging in the back garden sorting out a vegatable patch.

"We have never found anything like this before and we have lived here since 1998."

The couple are now appealing for any information from historians on when the bullet may have originated.
