Leeds dad who ordered eleven speakers from Amazon was sent eleven cartons of Soya Milk instead

Mark Breadon, 40, had ordered eleven PP cone Hi-Fi woofer in a bid to set up a surround sound system in his two-year-old daughter's bedroom.

But when a package arrived at his front door the next day, the dad-of-one was shocked to find eleven cartons of Morrisons Unsweetened Soya Milk.

The advertising manager complained to the online retail giant who apologised and offered him a refund on the order.

Despite being offered the chance to re-order, the dad-of-one decided to go elsewhere and donated the "trendy" milk to a local foodbank.

Mark said: "It's just so funny you couldn't make it up!

"How on earth do you get the two muddled up?

"As soon as it arrived I thought 'hang on these are not what I ordered'.

"I wanted to set up a little surround sound system in Broke's bedroom as we got her a small iPad for Christmas.

"I just can't quite believe it.

"I'm not sure how you can get soya milk mixed up with speakers but somehow they managed it.

"I complained to Amazon and they said this happened with Morrisons all the time.

"He said it was typical but I couldn't stop laughing.

"They offered me the chance to reorder but I thought I'd give that a miss seeing as it's so close to Christmas.

"I can't really chance it.

"I don't drink that trendy stuff.

"I ended up donating to it a local foodbank."

Morrisons launched its own Amazon store in August 2020, allowing consumers to shop for all its groceries directly through the retailers' website.

Amazon has been contacted for comment.
