"Because of the Government's plans to allow events such as ours to take place from October now being under review, Leeds Armouries have taken the difficult decision to postpone Leeds Comic-Con.

"We really wanted this event and all of our other events in 2020 to happen and we worked so hard behind the scenes to try to get a great Covid secure event up and running, but sadly it wasn’t to be.”

She added: “Once again we are very, very sorry this is an unprecedented and challenging situation and we are trying to do the best for all of our customers.

"Thank you all for your continued support, we hope to see you all soon."
