How hope won out in Leeds family's battle with little baby's cancer - the YEP says

Her parents Rob and Natasha had spent five years trying to conceive before they embarked on a gruelling IVF process for their miracle child.

But their delight at completing their little family was shattered after they received the devastating news that their little girl had a rare form of cancer.

The cruel news would be enough to break even the strongest of families.

But their family’s tale is one of hope.

Rather than giving into despair the family clung on so tightly to hope as they started to once again hear the gorgeous giggles of their baby daughter.

Their family’s story has a happy ending. Yet there are many others whose do not and they are faced with unthinkable grief.

But now the Holt family want to share their experience of dealing with childhood cancer to help other parents who are faced with the same heartache as they endured.

For them it is all about offering that glimmer of hope in the darkness of desperation to support others.
