Sales manager Chris Nash is organising the event along with fellow volunteers Michelle and Jess Mercer.

Chris said: “We want to make it a fabulous night, but the main thing is it will hopefully raise awareness of what’s happening on our streets.

"A lot of homeless people don’t have the support and family to support them when something happens to them.

“Many have mental health issues, broken families, so what we do helps them have someone to talk to."

The volunteers are looking for local businesses to offer their services as prizes for the raffle, raising more money for the charity during the ball.

Chris added: "We're looking for restaurants to offer a meal, beauty therapists to offer treatments - we've already had Barber Barber offer a grooming experience."

Anyone who can help is asked to email Jess Mercer at [email protected]
