Northern Powergrid is reporting a total of 1,480 homes across Leeds which are currently without power.

The following postcodes are affected:

LS1,

The power is due to be restored by 7.30pm according to Northern Powergrid.

The outage was first reported shortly before 6pm.

Northern Powergrid said: "The power cut affecting your property has been caused by an unexpected problem with the cables or equipment that serve your area.

"Our team are working hard to restore your power as quickly as possible."
