Nine-month-old Isobel Gibbons was "desperately trying to be like her big brother" three-year-old Jack and stood up on her seat, mum Emma, 34, told the YEP.

However, when little Isobel sat back down, she put both of her legs through the same hole and was stuck.

She said it took three firefighters to save Isobel - "using a large amount of bubble bath".

Speaking to the YEP, Emma said: "I am very grateful.

"They came quickly and kept me, an anxious mum, calm.

"In the end they used a large amount of bubble bath and slid her out!"

Emma described the horrifying moment Isobel became stuck.

She added: "Isobel was having her bath.

"She was sat happily in her bath seat.

"She is desperately trying to be like her big brother so she stood up and as she sat back down both of her legs went into the same hole.

"She was stuck.

"I tried bathroom products to try and get her out with no luck so I called 999 and the amazing fire crew came out.

"It took three of them to safely rescue her from the seat."

West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service posted about the incident on social media.

The post read: "Earlier this week our Firefighters from Stanningley were called to a baby stuck in a bath seat.

"Crews took great care in helping to get 9 month old Isobel out safely.
