Brand new Armley softplay centre to open this week with prices starting from £1

The Kids Castle in Armley is set to open doors on Wednesday August 26 after an incredible transformation by owner Aimee Holmes, 32.

The new softplay centre - in Unit A 41-43, Stanningley Road - has a football section, slides for different age ranges and ball pool areas.

Aimee told the Yorkshire Evening Post said the transformation started in January with a view to open in April.

However, the coronavirus pandemic caused a delay.

Aimee said she is now 'really proud' to be able to open the softplay centre - with many residents of Armley excited for their first visit.

She told the Yorkshire Evening Post: "We started this at the end of January with a view to open first week in April.

"With the current situation, we never thought we would get to open the doors as it hit us hard being a new business and in the soft play category that was one of the last businesses allowed to open.

"We are really proud now to be open and sharing this with our customers."
