Bramham gets Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service

Bramham has been awarded the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service in honour of the community work carried out by its residents.

The announcement saw Bramham Village Hall and Community Action Group named as one of only four West Yorkshire groups to receive the honour this year. The award is given to groups which have demonstrated outstanding dedication to voluntary service and making a big difference to local communities.

Resident Alison Mackie applied for the award to reward village volunteers.
