Pensioners taken to hospital after house fire in Guiseley, Leeds
TWO pensioners were taken to hospital following a blaze at a house in Guiseley this evening.
Fire crews from Rawdon and Idle dealt with the fire in the kitchen of a house on Hawkstone Avenue at Guiseley just after 5.30pm
A West Yorkshire Fire Service spokesman said an elderly man and woman suffered smoke inhalation and were given oxygen therapy at the scene by firefighters before being taken to hospital.
